Revealing Next Button once all states are selected - still remains hidden

Hello!
I'm stuck with my hidden next button on a project.
I want learners to visit 3 different slides before the next button appears for them to move on.
I have hidden the next button once the timeline starts on the first slide and created a trigger to make it appear once the states of my objects have been 'selected'.
The objects that require to be 'selected' take the user to another slide which then returns them back to the very first slide with the hidden next button. I have also created a trigger to change these object states to 'selected' once user clicks on them.
Looks like I've covered it all however the next button still doesn't want to appear :(
What am I missing here?

Hey Matthew,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure I understand. I can only choose for the object to be 'selected' and not 'changed' and then add the 'if' conditions.
I wouldn't use the selected states because they are built with a specific toggle functionality. And you don't require a trigger to change to selected.
I did a blog post/tutorial on how to do something similar to what you want to do.
