I have worked up a slide that has a slider interaction that fades in a layer. I would like for the layer to fade out when the slider is returned to it's start position. I am sure this is easy but maybe someone could walk me through how to do this?
When I move the slider to the right, the layer appears after I have moved the slider 3 clicks. If I then move the slider back 1 click to the left, the layer disappears.
If I interpret your question correctly, you want to fade-out the layer. Since layers and slides do not have exit transitions, this can be a bit tricky. Perhaps the attached SL2 example will offer you a solution.
Hopefully Chris's file will be of assistance. In your file, you would need to remove the "Hide this Layer" trigger and use the "resume timeline" idea from Chris to get the fade out to work.

Hello Niomi!
