[SOLVED]Review freeform Prev/Next button

*Articulate Storyline 3*

Hello, i have a little trouble here. I create a course with many scenes, every scene have a video and some exercises. For some of those exercises i set "Resume saved state" and take off the navigation buttons, if i complete the exercise and turn again on the slide i have the "prev" and "next". The trouble is that if the exercise slide is the last of the scene then the "next" button do nothing, it don't go to the next slide on the next scene.

Is there a way to set the triggers of review navigation buttons?

Solution:

First you must go to the "Form view"

On the "Form view" page go at the bottom, and click on the "More" button corresponding to the "Correct" feedback

On the window that appear you can set the trigger for the "next" button that appear in review mode

(Sorry for bad english, hope you understand the process)

Hi Daniel,

Are you seeing this happening only when revisiting a slide such as during a Review, or is it occurring throughout your course when you've reached the end of a scene?

What's the trigger to disable/hide those buttons before the exercise, and then once the exercise is completed? If you'd like to share the .story file with us here, we'd be happy to take a look with your permission. You can also always share privately with our Support Team.

Hi Ashley,

I disabled the prev/next button from the slide properties. I attached a file for you, when you complete the drag and drop you will go to the 2nd scene. If you come back to the drag and drop you will see the next/prev button instead of submit, and i'ts ok cause i want the slide to resume saved state. The problem is that if i press "next" nothing happens, i want to trigger that next button to jump to next scene.

I found another solution that seems to work for me. I set, on the slide master of my quizzes, the trigger "Jump to next scene when user click the Next button".

And i found another "bug" i think. When reviewing the slide, the prev button don't go to the real previous slide, but jump to the last slide you visited.

Not a bug that is expected behaviour - the Previous button works like a browser button and takes you back to the last page/slide visited not the prev slide in the file setup

Hello again, i finally found the solution! On every every freeform slide you must go on "Form view". At the bottom you must click on the button "more" near the correct feedback. In the new window that appears on "Branch to the following" you can set the slide that you want to go when the user press the next button in review mode.
