review of freeform slide : nightmare on feedback beach
Feb 15, 2013
Storyline doesnt give the right answer when reviewing a freeform (ex : drag and drop) slide.
So i created the right answer in the review slide.
Up till now, its heaven. The user gets feedback and the right answer for each questions in the quiz.
Now i publich, everything looks perfect :
On the original slide...
When he answers it..
and even when he reviews it...
The nightmare begins when the learner navigates to another review slide and then decides to go back to the freeform slide...
I've tried every setting for the review slide properties. I was hopeful about this one.
But it doesnt solve it. Whatever i do, the review layer becomes transparent when the users revisits.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
thank you!

Looks like you're seeing the objects on the base layer.
On your feedback layer you can hide items from the base layer if you click the arrow in the timeline called Base Layer Objects. Select the objects to hide. They will only be hidden on said feedback layer.
Yes i thought that too. All the objects on base layer are already hidden. They only appear when user revisits the review slide...
its very confusing...
can yo upload the SL file?
well i dont have much time to solve this problem. Im going to solve with the old fashion way : im gonna put a white background on my review layer to block the base layer from showing. it should solve de problem... momentarily.
It's quite a big file....
