Review Training material

Jun 15, 2020

when someone fails the test you have a choice to just retake the test or review training.  If  you retake the test no problems it works but if you review the material it takes you to the first slide of the training which is correct but when you hit the test it shows you the failed test and doesn't allow you to retake it.  you have to scroll through all of your wrong answers get the results screen that you failed again and then retake the test.  can this be avoided and just review the material and when it hits the test allow you to retake it.

Thank you for your quick response. Is there a way to make the review training end at the end of the training and not review the wrong answers. Also I am curious as to how to set up the retake quiz to only take the ones you got wrong. I thought storyline could not do that. That would be great if I could get that to work. Appreciate the help.

Hi Karen,

Happy to help clarify and answer your questions!

Firstly, a results slide has built-in buttons to Review, Print, and Retry. These buttons are all related around the quiz only and not the entire course.

Is there a way to make the review training end at the end of the training and not review the wrong answers?

It sounds like you may have created a custom button to review the course from the beginning, as the default Review button in a results slide is related to the quiz only.

If you did create a custom button, perhaps you can share your file in this discussion, or with our support engineers to offer up suggestions on how you can skip the exam. If you are using the built-in Review button, you can review the options in the user guide I linked above.

When you open up the trigger to Retry quiz, there will be an option to Reset only incorrect questions. Take a look at the user guide I linked above as it explains it in greater detail!

I hope this helps!
