Reviewing a Completed Course

Aug 07, 2020

I have many courses that I need people to be able to access after they have already completed the course.  I set the course to Auto Resume so that the person does not start the course over.  However, the course always resumes on the last slide they accessed which is the Final Results slide.

I would like to redirect them to the first slide and show a message, probably a new layer, that states that the course is now in "review mode" and that the menu is open for free navigation.  I cannot figure out how to do this.  I tried setting a variable on the results page the first time they access the page and then when they visit the page the second time, it redirects them to the first slide.  However, since the course is resumed, it appears that the course thinks that it is still the first time they are seeing the slide.  It is not recognizing the fact that it has been resumed and the slide has already been viewed.

Any suggestions?

Hi Douglas,

Thanks for contacting us and sharing what you are working to create with your project file.

I'm curious about your variable solution and why that did not work for you. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Hi Clément and welcome to E-Learning Heroes 😊

I can see that you were able to reach our support team as well and that you are currently working directly with Georvy.

Hi Shelley!

It doesn't look like we heard back from Clément or Douglas, so I don't have a solution to share.

I'd recommend reaching out to our Support Engineers in a support case so that we can see what you've created so far and offer troubleshooting steps from there.

I'll keep an eye on your case, so what does the trick!
