Likely you'd have an LMS where the course is hosted, that is tracking your students responses. Some LMS's have difficulty or don't support tracking survey responses so you'd want to check and make sure that is an option for you. If you don't have an LMS yet, you may want to look into Articulate Online.
Ashley - any chance you could elaborate on the surveys stuff - if we don't support that well in Moodle it would be good to know what we need to do to improve it - where does it store the data? - if you have a demo package that I could use for testing on Moodle that would be helpful too!

Hi Dan, I believe it sends the data as interaction data, but does not show up in Storyline, I can put you a demo together with all survey questions if you want
Thanks Phil - if it's Moodle that doesn't display the data correctly I'd like to hear so that we can make sure we improve the reports - I did a bunch of work on reporting for Moodle 2.6 but keen to hear if there are other areas that badly need improvements.
I don't know if it is Moodle, I have a client who uses survey questions and we can never get the results to show in Moodle (this could be my incompetence).
Happy to help, because this would make my life easier.
I'm glad Phil is able to help you out here and make a sample file with surveys. I'm not sure the survey reporting is Moodle specific, as I have heard it before about other LMSs. You could also test it within Articulate Online, which can report on survey results.
Thanks Phil - fire it through - if you get a chance to run it in articulate online and get some screenshots of what the survey data should look like that would help too.

I use Moodle as my LMS, and obviously it doesn't allow these options...
Thanks.
Moodle should allow for at least the tracking of regular quizzes, the surveys are the piece that some LMS's don't deal well with.

Hi Dan,
If you find a solution to this problem on Moodle, it would be great if you'de share the news here
Thanks!
