Revisit slide behavior

I have a section of a course where health care professionals are asking patients a series of questions. The questions are spread across two separate slides and they can bounce back and forth between them. However, if they go back to the other set of questions, the pop up boxes with the answers appear instead of having just the list of questions appear with states indicating questions they have already asked. The only way I have found to prevent this behavior is to set the slides to "resume to initial state", but then the visited states of the questions they have already asked aren't visible. I extracted the pertinent sections out of the course and that .story file is attached.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Whitney, you can do this just by setting the slides to "Resume saved state" but adding triggers to hide each of the layers "on timeline start > this slide". See my example.
That's perfect and thanks Sam!
