Revisit slide - restart timeline but display Next button

Mar 12, 2021

Hello,

I'd like my learners to be able to revisit the previous slide from the beginning of the timeline but be able to see the Next button. When they see the slide for the first time the Next button displays only when the video completes but when they revisit I'd like the Next button to display right away.

How can I do that?

Thanks.

Hi, Nadia,

  • Create a T/F variable with the initial value of False.
  • For the trigger that hides (or disables) the Next button, add a condition so it will only do that when the variable = False.
  • Add a trigger that adjusts the variable to True when the video completes.

FYI: It's worth the effort to learn about conditions and variables. They provide the real power in Storyline.
