Since the latest update im not seeing the audio file name popup when I rollover the layer in the timeline. This was a very useful feature when you have to replace audio files. Is there another way of seeing the audio file name that was used on a particular layer?
I tested this out in Storyline 3 vs. Storyline 360, as it wasn't something I ever noticed - and within Storyline 3 I can mouse over the audio file in the timeline and see the name of the file appear as a pop up/hover image. I tested this in Storyline 360 on the base slide and a layer - and both of those didn't show the pop up as in Storyline 3.
I'm not sure what may have changed in the latest update to Storyline 360 to account for this, but I can share with our team as a possible bug. Sometimes my team catches errors in my logic and we don’t have a bug after all. Of course, if that’s the case, I’ll let you know!
Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve - so I'd guess that this would rank as a low priority. In case you're curious, here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.
One more clarification that I forgot to mention. When I open old file with audios already in it it shows the names. This only happens when you import new audio in the latest version. Please try that and see what happens.
I am experiencing the same issue. I found a work around...if I right click on the waveform and choose Export, I can see the filename. Then I just cancel out. This is not ideal but will hopefully get you through until the bug can be fixed.
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes and new features that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is how we fixed the issue where Audio Filenames were no longer showing in the Timeline when the mouse is hovered over the Audio.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for each application. Details here.

Ok.

Thanks Mike! I see that too in the report with our team. So we'll keep you posted here!
