It may depend on the type of .EXE file you're running and the security restrictions for the machine. For example, one machine may be able to run this (once it's set up) without any problem, but another client or customer may not be able to use the same program on their machine.
It may be worth posting the question over in the Building Better Courses section in case someone has come up with a solution. Hopefully someone who's done something similar can give you some tips.
