Thanks for the steps! So basically unless new Dropbox users are aware of the steps outlined here (which I should have read more carefully the first time), they won't be able to make their courses public. The problem is that it's not an obvious process for many new Storyline users looking for ways to share their courses for free. So this may be a great Screenr assignment for someone to add in the Building Better Courses area. Thanks again Leslie!
Great instructions there. I have a public folder, but I keep reading that new people can..no they can't...share the "old" way. Nice to see it all explained so clearly.
I am having this same problem - help! Has a solution been found? I cannot seem to find a "copy public link" choice either. The content is in my public folder.
This thread is a bit older, so I'm not sure that folks are still subscribed, but I think Dropbox changed their set up so that a public folder was no longer needed - but you should still be able to copy a public link. Are you looking at the story.html file within the published output folder?
Actually we may have just figured it out.
Although I could no longer find the Copy Public Link Icon on my iPad that I had previously used. I could use my own PC to bring up the drop box folder structure and access the Story.html file, right click it, select Copy Public Link, and then email that link to my yahoo account and access on the iPad and it worked!
Very convoluted but it works!
Thanks! Regina

Thanks Regina for the update and I'm glad you were able to get it working again. I hadn't tried to copy from my iPad - but that's a good trick.
