S3 output speeds

I notice that in all the examples posted on this site, the ones that are hosted on the amzon S3 servers run quite smoothly and quickly. 

I also host many of my outputs on S3, but I find them slow to load (at the beginning as well as in between slides)

Any ideas as to why this might be?

The SL content (heavy media, videos, audio) generally impacts load times and performance more than hosting with major hosts like Amazon Web Services (AWS S3). The Chrome browser offers a developer console with some helpful tabs that might help you narrow down your slow components. Youtube has some helpful videos on using the Developer console
