I'm wondering if anyone has insight on how to do something in Storyline. I am trying to have a "search" button show a right or wrong layer based on learner input into a numeric entry field. I cannot figure out how to do this. Any ideas?
Wendy yes! Would I need to go back and replay the slide each time? My teammate nor I could figure this out today and I'm building a simulation that I really really want to be able to do this.
not Sure what you mean Amber - hard to say without knowing all your requirements.
but if you are re-using the same numeric entry variable on different slides - yes you could reset the variable back to 0 when the timeline started on the layer.

Thanks for responding. So here's what I want:
You are on the -Account PAGE
Click search, if you enter the number 15- show layer wrong-----takes you back to account page
Click the same 'search' button, if you enter the number 16-- show layer correct
Does that make sense?

see if this helps - I've just created it as a normal slide with triggers but you may be using a quiz slide.
