Save a screen on one's computer
Sep 03, 2020
Hi,
We are developping e-learning modules on storyline, aimed to help people improving their skills in basic learnings. They are very uncomfortable with informatic, digital...
I really nead a way that would allow them to save their answer on the screen. Just like if they cought a picture of their screen to save it on their computer.
By now, we use the java code "print"... But it's too complicated for them to find out how to save it. In french the windows vocabulary is "print" instead of save.
So, how can we save a screen ?
Thank you in advance,
Camille

Hi Camille, what is the outcome of saving the data? What will the user do with the data? The best way for the users to save their answers is by delivering the module as SCORM through Learning Management System. Without knowing what your situation is (number of users, budget etc) there are cloud based options available.
I should have also said that there is an option to send data to a Google Sheet if you do not have access to an LMS.

Thank you for your answer! I'm sorry, i have not explained the context enough.
Obviously we use this option when teachers are able to collect the results from the LMS - and that e-learnings are only online courses.
The thing is that some of our courses are mixed learnings : online + classroom lessons.
Classroom teachers don't have acces to learners results.
So we want learners to go to their classroom lessons with their results impressed.
In that order, we need an option allowing learners to impress their answers (in others words : to impress their screen).
How can we do that ?
(Screen catch is too complicated).
Thank you in advance,
Camille
