save problem
Nov 27, 2012
Hi.
I worked on a project and wanted to save it but didn't have space on my computer and got an alert about it.
so I deleted some stuff off my computer and tried to save again, but couldn't.
The storyline worked, and I could go on with my project but couldn't save it...
that means I needed to start over. this happened twice!
Is this a bug? is there something to do so this will not happen again?
Thanks.

What kind of computer do you use?
Hi Michelle,
Sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing saving files. Do you remember what the error message said? If not, can you try to create a new project and see if you can reproduce the error?
Thanks!
this is the error box.
once I did "save as" the storyline crashed.
and this is the error when the storyline crashed:

Good morning Michelle,
Thanks very much for the additional information. First, I just want to make sure that you're working with local content.
Here's some more information:
If you are experiencing unexpected issues using Articulate software, here are some tips for managing your files which can help prevent issues.
1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article:

If you continue to see this error after checking all of the information above, please let me know.
Thanks!
thanks
Hi,
I'm creating a course in Articulate Storyline which has 300 slides. Most of them are Demo and Try using screen recording features.
The slides have multiple audio, maximum of 40 seconds duration.
Now the problem is my STORY file has became unstable now. It often fail to save. It can not even import new scene now.
I need to integrate the whole thing and deliver it to client ASAP. Please help.
Thanks, Tanmay
