On ongoing project, working on it for weeks, always saved just fine. Today, when I try to save the project file, i get a message that the project file could not be saved. This operation is supported only when you are connected to the server.
Had my IT folks look at it and they are stumped, nothing to do with company servers or my computer.
Thanks all for the replies. Since inception, Storyline has been installed locally and I have saved files to the same local location. For some reason, as yet unidentified, it now thinks I am trying to save (re-save) this file through a network sever. I am working with my corporate IT folks to see if we can identify what has changed in my configuration / settings to be causing this.

Hi Nancy:
I looks like you are saving to a network drive. Not recommended.
Save to your local drive and copy to the network after (for archive reasons). Get in the habit of always working on a local drive with SL.
Best Regards,

Hi Nancy and welcome to Heroes!
As Dennis mentioned, you'll want to work and save your Storyline projects locally, and then you can always save an additional copy as backup to a network drive. Storyline is also not supported within a server environment and needs to be installed on your computers local hard drive.

Thanks Nancy for the update, and please keep us posted on what your IT department figures out.
