Saving files for portfolio examples
Jan 16, 2019
I am currently saving my files on a work server, but I will be leaving this job pretty soon. I have looked around and can not find a feasible way of saving Storyline files (my work samples are mostly in Storyline 2/3 and 360) so I can showcase some work samples. I am looking for a server/storage that will allow me to link to the executable in a portfolio. Google Drive and Dropbox no longer support this and I've tried Amazon Web Service, but haven't been able to figure it out.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you!

Hi Colleen!
Have you seen Tom Kuhlmann's step-by-step tutorial on how to share e-learning content on Amazon S3? While it takes a bit of time to set up, it's a breeze to use once you've got it going.
Give it a try, and let us know if you need any help along the way!
I've been using Google Cloud. The initial set-up is a little complicated, but I was able to get it running by following Mike Taylor's instructions.
I am also using Google Drive with instructions from Tom Khulman http://blogs.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/heres-easy-way-share-e-learning-courses/
If you use the Google Drive instructions or the Amazon instructions can the links then be shared on Wix?
I have my files on AWS (amazon) and then I put the links on my wix site. Has anyone tried using dropbox showcase (in professional plan) to showcase their projects?
Does anyone use Wordpress or Squarespace for their website/portfolio? If so, where do you store your courses? I have AWS S3 and it is complex. And, not sure why, but some of my course files are gone. Really need something quick and easy.
