Hi Donna! You'll want to be sure your .PPT file is saved locally to your C: drive. When you open Storyline, choose to Import and browse to your .PPT file.
I'm using SL 360 and I'm not sure if SL 2 is the same. Go to Insert tab > Video (over Media section) > Video from File > [attach the video].
You can attach the video if it's in one of the accepted formats. If you're trying to attach the PPT with the video saved on a PPT slide, this would not be the correct procedure. You would use Slides tab > Import PowerPoint.
