Has anyone testing storing Storyline files on Microsoft OneDrive? (the cloud). Accessing files stored on a network drive in a problem, I know. I am hoping using OneDrive will be different.
Hi, Connie -- Thanks for your question! While I cannot speak to having used MS OneDrive and will need to defer to your fellow community members to share their experiences, I did want to share this post on Best Practices for storing source files.
I tried to upload some published projects to OneDrive, and it rejected them. Storyline creates a folder named External_Files when it publishes, and OneDrive apparently uses that file name internally, because I got a message that it already existed.
It did accept them when zipped.
As to what will happen if you store your working files, no idea.

I did also want to note, regardless of where you store your files, it's important to remember to Create, Edit, and Publish Articulate Storyline Courses on Your Local Hard Drive. :)
