I know it's been a while since your original post, but I thought it deserved a response!
It sounds as though you may have perhaps been attempting to save your *.story Storyline Project file to your Web Server, rather than actually publishing the project for the Web.

I do not see support for SFTP within Storyline's built-in "Publish to FTP" function. I am guessing that when Kathy performed the upload referenced above, she did so with a third-party FTP Client. Can you confirm, Kathy?

Thanks for your reply - but Jeanette's article doesn't seem to mention "SSH FTP" (SFTP).
Is there a way that Storyline's built-in 'Publish to FTP' function can be used to publish to an SFTP account?
