Hi, I have a project with 5 scenes. When I preview the project, the second scene is missing. I can preview that scene on its own. Can't find anything that seems to be telling Storyline to skip that scene. How do I fix it?
Hi Sara and welcome to the community! Do you have any navigation set up linking into scene 2? For example, if it is linear, do you have a link from the next button on the last slide in scene #1 to the first slide in scene #2 (or something similar)? If you look in story view do you see any arrows pointing into scene 2?
Hi Sara, if you change the trigger from "Jump to next slide" to "Jump to next scene" or "Jump to Slide - (pick the 1st slide in scene 2)" you should get it to work the way you want. Notice how all the scenes are side-by-side in story view? When you add a trigger to jump the 2nd scene it should shift down below and show an arrow depicting the flow between scenes? Can you add Scene 2 back via the Player properties under the Menu button? You can use the "Insert from project" button at the bottom.
If that's still not it, are you able to share your .story file? If so, I be happy to take a look.
I tried changing the trigger as suggested, which made the scene available by clicking Next but didn't show it in the menu. So then I tried the "insert from project" and now it is showing up perfectly, plus I learned another new thing.

Hi Mike,
Yes, the last slide of scene #1 has a trigger to go to "next slide" the same as all the other ones. Scene 2 doesn't even show up in the menu.

So, all fixed, and thank you!!
