Scenes, branching, and the displayed menu
Feb 17, 2015
I am a newbie! So forgive me if this is an elementary question. I have created several scenes in a project. When I preview the entire project all slides are not displayed in the menu section. Also some slides are associated with the scene where I originally created them. So, the move did not get associated with the menu listing. I am sure that the fix is easy but can't make it happen.
Also when I am displaying the story view, my scenes are stacked vertically. I have seen a more tradition branching appearance. This look would be helpful and prevent unnecessary scrolling.
I hope help comes soon! I am also bald, trying to figure this out.

Hi Beth,
In regards to the menu, if you've been moving items around or rearranging them, you'll want to use the "reset from story" option within your menu to have them match the current location as described here.
The view within Story view will be dependent on your triggers and you may want to review the information here in regards to how story view works.
Hello Beth,
Welcome to the community! You can rearrange the slides in the menu to the order you want them in. If you need to reset them to the order of the story file, you can use this icon here:
in the Player tab, under Menu. The stacking order of the story view will be based on your branching set up. Hope this helps!
I used the reset from story. That worked! I will check out triggers as these are somewhat of a mystery to me as yet. Layers are another issue ... but for another time.
Thanks for the help! That was a quick response!
Thanks Beth for the update - and glad you got parts of it working as needed.
