I complete the entire course assessment and answer every question correctly, therefore I get a 100% passing score. Then I click the Retry Assessment button and this time only answer two questions correctly and then skip the rest, therefore I should get only a 20% score. However, each time that I do this, I get a passing score of 80% or 90%, which doesnt make sense. It seems that the previous score is not resetting.
First, please check within the quiz slide properties that the When Revisiting drop down is not set to "resume saved state". you can set this to automatically decide or Resume at Initial state.
If this is tested within your LMS, you may want to test it in the SCORM Cloud, the industry standard for testing, to see if the same behavior occurs. Some LMS's only record the first submission of quizzes. Here is some information on troubleshooting your LMS for tracking and reporting issues.
