There is a bug with Articulate Storyline whereby if a user exits a course before completion then the lesson sends a zero score to the LMS and therefore interprets it as a fail rather than just an incomplete. This even occurs in courses with no assessment at all.
This only occurs if you exit by a button using the Exit Course command. If you Exit the course by clicking the Close button in the top right corner of the window the problem does not occur.
From what I can see this bug was first reported in March 2004 and still hasn't been fixed. Can anyone tell me when it will be fixed?
I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. This has been reported to our Support and QA team in early summer 2014, and they are currently working on it.
