I have created a series of 4 modules in Storyline 2 with similar quizzes, size, links, etc however when our client tried to upload them to their LMS, a Meridian customized LMS, 3 uploaded without a problem however one would not upload. The error was:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'
Object required: 'objXMLDoc'
/kc/includes/vb_functions_inc.asp, line 1645
I have done all I can to check and double check settings across all and cannot seem to find a reason for the error. We tested an earlier version of this module with no error. I am not sure what to do or suggest to my client.
Hi, Lisa -- Thanks for reaching out here and sorry to hear of your troubles! I can't say that I have seen that error reported previously, but might I ask if you are also finding the same troubles uploading your course to the SCORM Cloud (as that is the industry standard for LMS testing)? Thanks Christie for you reply. I was able to upload it successfully to SCORM cloud and Adobe Connect but the LMS is the only place where there was an error. We had tested this same course 2 months ago with the LMS and it worked. We are just not sure what else to do or try.
Thanks for testing via the SCORM Cloud, Lisa, and as you are finding that the course is functioning there properly, that would tend to indicate that the issue may not be rooted in the course itself, but more so in how it is behaving on the Meridian LMS. Perhaps you might want to reach out to Meridian support for their thoughts on what may be taking place.
