SCORM/AICC

Aug 07, 2014

I am being asked about the SCORM/AICC compliance of Storyline. What I want to know is: When a course is built and published in Storyline and then loaded into an LMS – does it automatically report out things like completion, assessment scores and does it track user progress and return them to the point where they left off. Or is this additional coding I would need to do in our courses?

Currently I am building my courses in Storyline with embedded HTML 5 software simulations which are exported from Captivate.

Thank you in advance!

Good Morning, Devon.

Storyline publishes Tin Can-, SCORM-, and AICC-compliant content, so it works seamlessly with your learning management system (LMS).

When you publish a project for LMS, this is the quiz data that is sent to the LMS, this is when content communicates completion to an LMS, and this is how to change the player's resume behavior. You don't need to do any additional coding in order to make this happen.

Please let us know if you need anything else, and have a great day!
