SCORM completeion

Mar 29, 2017

We have SCORM files set up on "restricted" and "the user is not allowed to drag the seek bar" so that the users have to listen to the entire slide in order to move to the next slide. However, once the user has gone through the entire SCORM file, they are able to freely move through the SCORM package.

The issue that we are having is that some of our users are going through the entire SCORM file, but Moodle is not showing them as complete, and the SCORM file is not either.

This is only happening with one of our courses, and I can not figure out why this is happening. Our users are getting very angry because they are having to constantly retake the Session, which is quite long.

I have my settings set up in Moodle the same way for all the SCORM files, it just seems that there is an issue with just the one file.

Can some one help?

Thank you

Hi Brittany,

Without knowing the specifics of your project, it is really difficult to know where the problem might be. How are your scorm settings set, and when do you consider the course complete? Are you using a quiz, or counting slides?

If you are counting slides, you might try having at least one more slide than the total required number of slides required to complete the course. I do this to ensure that a completion get sent to the LMS properly.

If that doesn't fix it, you might consider posting a copy of your project for others to look at to see if they can spot the problem for you.

Thank  you for the feedback. I am counting completion by the # of slides, and I have my Moodle settings as:

Grading Method: Learning objects

Unlimited Attempts

Highest Attempt

Activity Completion:

-Students must view this activity to complete it

and then the boxes: Passed and Completed are checked.

In Articulate, the settings are:

Completed/Incomplete
