SCORM File Issue on Adobe Connect LMS

Mar 01, 2021

Hello everyone,

This issue must have been solved before but I could not find it. Here's my issue that I have been struggling for weeks. I have been using Storyline for the past 5 years on CSOD LMS and it works fine. But when I moved to a new job, I am trying to upload SCORM files created from Storyline 3 to Adobe Connect as an e-learning module (not as an event).

The zip file loads successfully(I tried SCROM 1.2 and 2004) but it seems that I lose some of the audio on my module. In every slide I lose 15-25 seconds of recorded audio(m4a file).

When I review it on Storyline, all the audio is there. But when published and uploaded to Adobe Connect as SCORM, missing audio.

I tried publishing it online(story.html) and when viewed, all the audio is there.

Am I missing something to edit on the settings for Adobe Connect/Articulate for it to work? I need it on Adobe Connect so I can track and manage the progress for the learners.

I am really struggling and really cant find a solution on this.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

Hi Mark,

I'm really sorry to hear that your audio is missing when you upload your course to your LMS! You may consider testing your file in one more environment: SCORM Cloud.

If it works well there, I recommend reaching out to Adobe Connect and sharing all the troubleshooting steps you've taken, including how you're able to hear the audio in several other environments.

If you don't hear the audio in SCORM Cloud, our team can also give your .story file a second look and see why this is happening. Let us know if you'd like some help testing this, and we'll be happy to help!
