SCORM File won't work in Safari (Macintosh)

I built a course about four years ago in Storyline 1. Recently, the client that uses the course let me know that there are issues with the functionality of the course. It hasn't been working. I stripped the course back and rebuilt it entirely in Articulate Storyline v.2 and have tested it across a range of devices including Mac, PC, iPad and Android.
It functions fine as a CD version, but once I upload it to Moodle it behaves incorrectly. Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome function on PC. On Mac, the course runs in Firefox. But on Safari, when the screen loads, the loading wheel appears constantly and won't proceed to the course. Can anyone please advise?

Hi Iain!
You shouldn't have any issues viewing published Storyline 2 content in Chrome or Safari on a Mac. Have you tried hosting the output somewhere outside of Moodle?
SCORM Cloud is handy for this kind of testing since it's industry standard. You can create a free account right here, or I'd be happy to help you test. Simply attach your file here, and I'll do the rest.
Hi Alyssa- I’ve tested in SCORM Cloud already and it’s all reporting fine. I don’t understand why it won’t function when it’s in Moodle though. Other browsers are fine- the situation seems only to exist in Safari. Is the problem likely to be with Moodle?

Yes, I'd suspect this to be a Moodle issue since it works well in SCORM Cloud. From here, I'd reach out to the Moodle support team and let them know about how the course behaves in SCORM Cloud. They'll best know how to troubleshoot LMS-specific issues.
