We are using Moodle as our LMS. Lately we noticed that screen readers, JAWS and Mac VoiceOver, are not always picking up the Scorm objects on the page. Has anyone else had issues with this? Trying to see if it's the way we publish or if it is something in Moodle.
Another option would be to use our Tempshare server. Just keep in mind that this server is only available for testing content - it is not officially supported by Articulate and all content will be removed automatically after 10 days.
In addition, you could also use Dropbox. Just remember that you'll need to place your content in the "Public" folder. Also, you'll need to make sure that the folder is enabled. To do so, click on this link.
You're always welcome to try out Articulate Online, as well - it's available for a free 30 day trial.
I've heard anecdotal reports of the SCORM player in Moodle not being compatible with JAWS but no-one has provided us with specific information - if you manage to get any more information please create a bug in the Moodle tracker for us to look at.
I haven't heard of anyone who has tried to view JAWS compatible SCORM content within the Moodle SCORM player - I suspect that Moodle isn't compliant but I'd guess that most SCORM content out there isn't compatible either. If you know someone that has valid content and is able to test Moodle I'd appreciate any feedback.
I have created Text to speech in tool Jaws. After uploading to 3.2 Moodle version it is not working. kindly requesting to help on the same. Is there any moodle restriction for this JAWS tool. Because when the scorm is uploaded in LMS 1.9 it is working. in 3.2 it is not working
I'm not sure what versions of Moodle support JAWS, and which ones don't. You'll want to check that you're using a supported browser as well based on your version of Storyline.

Hi Ashley,
If you're not certain whether this is a Moodle issue, you could try using a different server to host your content.
For example, you could try using SCORM Cloud.

Has anyone received any update on whether SCORM player in Moodle is compatible with JAWS?
Hi Sandy,
I haven't seen any updates - and you may want to reach out to Dan specifically, as I know he maintains elements of SCORM within Moodle.
