SCORM reporting to LMS

Jan 20, 2016

Hi,

Is it possible to report content tagging to the LMS through SCORM?  My client is using Saba and they want to track the quiz questions to the learning objective and competency.

Thanks,

Norma

Hi Norma!

Click the Tracking tab on the left side of the window and choose one of the following tracking options:

  • Track using number of slides viewed: Use this option to specify how many slides learners need to view in order to complete the course.
  • Track using quiz result: Use this option to track learners based on their quiz results. If your course has multiple quizzes, you'll need to pick just one result slide to use for tracking. (This option is grayed out if your course doesn't have any result slides.)

You can read the details here.

njeanne,

I too have the same question. I know how to select 'Tracking' in the publishing window, but I believe the question is more about being able to track individual questions in an LMS across several training modules according to the objective of the question and the competency that it addresses.

I am in the process of tagging courses in SuccessFactors' LMS. However, this will not track individual quiz questions/objectives. I do not know a way for Storyline to do this. I can only get this level of tracking by creating and deploying the quiz questions inside of the LMS. The LMS then tracks them according to the objective, analyzes the items for there validity etc.
