SCORM2004 Format
Dec 11, 2014
Hello,
I published a course that I created in Storyline in the SCORM2004 format. When I did this it created a file with sub folders and content within the sub folders. I submitted all of that information to my LMS and they said that they need the files to be organized as a "Scorm package". I'm not sure what they mean by that. They would like a single zip file in order to "unpack" everything. The message they sent me is below. Can someone assist me with this?
Thanks,
Nicole
The preliminary evaluation of the sample is complete, and we need you to prepare another representative sample. We expect the files to be organized as a SCORM package. The content expects certain of the assets to be organized in sub directories. You may want to do some research into the Articulate Product that you are using. We need a single zip file in order to "unpack" everything properly.

Hi Nicole
when you published to LMS output there should be folder full of files. You just need to be zip that and upload.
so go to your output folder right click and 'send to zip' or 'compress files' if on a Mac.
hope that helps
When the publish process is complete, simply click the Zip button as described here under Step 6: https://community.articulate.com/series/5/articles/publishing-a-project-for-lms This will generate a SCORM package (which is basically a zip file of the content) that you can then pass on to your LMS folks.
