Screen Capture no Longer Playing Properly once Published

Hello,

I have seen a couple of posts for a simliar issue but I haven't seen any troubleshooting steps.

I'm able to preview the entire project perfectly but once the file is published to the web, some (not all) of the screen recordings are showing up as a blank screen. All the other text, audio does appear on the screen. Any suggestions?

Hi Faye!

Is your server configured for the proper MP4 MIME type? For testing purposes, does your screen recording play back properly in Tempshare?

Hi Peter,

I have tried uploading the file to the tempshare but it doesn’t seem to want to upload the zip file. I have made the modifications to our servers outlined in the link but it doesn’t fix the problem I’m seeing.

Hi,

I have the same issue. Screencast recordings play perfectly in preview on my PC but don't play once published.

This is particularly an issue as the learners work on their own pc's at home so we don't have server or control settings and the majority are not computer savvy.

I also have an issue with videos on any file type not playing which i posted about yesterday and am looking for suggestions on the best format to publish in and ways to overcome this when videos won't work
