Screen Recording: Issues viewing online

I am baffled.
I built a presentation containing screen recordings. When I click the "view project now" button after publishing, they appear to work as they should. However, when I upload the entire output folder to my FTP site and try to view the project online, everything plays as it should except the screen recordings. I've run into the same problem with every presentation I've made using screen recordings, but ONLY with screen recordings- everything else always works.
Is this a problem anyone else has had? It's not a browser issue, because I can view it just fine by opening it in my browser from Articulate. I don't believe it's my FTP client because I've never had this kind of problem with it before, and it happens exclusively with the elements I've screen recorded with Storyline.
Any ideas?

Hi Kate,
All screen recordings are published as .MP4 files. Thus, it sounds like your server doesn't currently support the MP4 mime type.
