Screen Recording keeps being cut short

I'm using Articulate Storyline 2 (one of the buggiest off-the shelf programs I've ever used!) version 1609.3020.

3 times today I've had a screen recording cut short on me - always around the 7 or 8 minute mark.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this could be happening? I'm going nowhere near the Esc key in my recordings and I have plenty of space on my hard drive. I can't see anything in common on-screen between the 3 instances of this happening so I'm fairly confident it's not anything I'm clicking on / typing!

Hi Kieran,

Always good to confirm that you're on the latest update of Articulate Storyline! Are you also seeing this issue happen in the same .story file or you're seeing it in across multiple Storyline projects? If it's just this one file, I'd look at checking two things - do you know if you're saving the files to your C: drive, the local drive? Working off a network or shared drive is known to cause odd behavior and issues in the projects so - if it was on a network or shared drive you could look at importing it into a new project file
