Just loaded Storyline 3 with the intention to start creating simulations using the Screen Recorder. It hangs everytime I try. I tried a simple 15 second screen cast but the same thing. It says saving video after I click done and then it sits there for 30 minutes "saving" at 0% complete. I finally give up and kill the job.

Is it possible that you’re working from somewhere other than your local C: drive? Working from a network drive or a USB drive can cause a few different problems, so you'll want to save your project on your local drive if you haven't already.
If everything checks out there, try these steps to fix erratic behavior.
