Screencast area

Hi. I'm a new user to Storyline.
I have been trying to record a screencast however the area being recorded makes no sense. It records a random portion of the screen which includes part of the capture rectangle and sometimes even the recording control box. I have tried playing with the story size and the window size but it never seems to properly capture what is in the window.
The following screen shot is what I get when I try to do a screen record of this discussion box

Hi, Doug -- So sorry to hear of your troubles! Have you had a chance to take a look the this information on Tips For Using The Storyline Screen Recorder Like a Pro, by chance?

I did look at this and tried everything within Storyline. I finally did a re-boot of my laptop and disconnected the second screen thinking that differing resolutions might be causing the problem.
When I used only my primary monitor after a hard re-start of Windows 8 everything seems to work as it should.
