A recent screencast I did includes keyboard actions (typing into fields) which appear fine in the recording when viewed as a video but they are not shown as a screen recording action when converted into step-by-step slides. My other recording projects show these actions without a problem so what could be causing this and how do I fix it?
My only suspicion is that it has to do with the fact that the recording was of an application that can only be accessed by remote desktop connection (even by the client). Would this interfere with the screencast registering keyboard actions?
Update: I was able to use the action fine tuning tool in Storyline (directions available at https://community.articulate.com/articles/editing-screen-recordings) to capture the additional keyboard actions that were inadvertently omitted by the conversion of the recording to step-by-step slides. So, I'm a happy camper now!
