I'm recording a screen where I'm moving my mouse to show hover states/info on a web page. SL is capturing the mouse movement (can see in preview before inserting the screencast), but it's not showing up once I insert the recording in View mode into the scene. The mouse just moves to the middle of the screen and stops. Using SL2, Win 7 and IE 9. I appreciate any help figuring this one out!
Hi, Lisa - I agree with Rachel; it would be helpful if we could take a look at your file to best assist you. Also, there are a few things we can look at to address common issues. Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline.
In addition, please ensure that you are working from the most current update of SL2. Please see this info on Update 5.
Thanks, y'all for responding! Hmmm. I always work from the LAN, so let me give that a try. I know some folks have issues with that process, but I've not had any problems....until now. I'm working off-site today, so will test that tomorrow when I'm back in the office and will let you know. If it's still an issue, I'll upload the file so you can take a look. I am working on the most recent version of SL...just did the 5 update right before experiencing the problem, interestingly enough. Many thanks!
