Screencasts shifting in Pusblished course

Sep 25, 2018

I am working in Storyline 2 and I have been using the You Try it mode to create slides with a short screen recording that is set to play based on a trigger.  I have been noticing in some of my courses, when I view the the published course in Chrome, the images on the screen shift by a couple of pixels on the slides that contain a screencast.  I don't know how to fix this problem, as it does not appear to happen when I view the course in IE11.  Is this due to a course setting?  Publishing setting?  Any thoughts?

Hi Annarose,

Do you know what update of Storyline 2 you've published these courses with? You can check by opening Storyline and going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline".

It would also help to know the versions of Chrome and IE11 you're using. I imagine in Chrome you're also viewing the HTML5 output whereas IE11 is likely showing the Flash version...that could account for the difference too.

If you're able to share a link to your course or even the .story file, that'll help us take a look and narrow down what's going on!
