Have you recently switched microphones, or began using your built-in mic instead of an external mic? Made sure the audio isn't being picked up by both built-in and external microphones?
I DID start using a microphone to make recordings but that is no longer connected. I thought I had reset my laptop to original settings, but I could have mucked them all up.
I found that as a "work around" if I just do my screencasts using NO SOUND I don't get that echo. It's a bit of a pain, but since I am working with a tight deadline to get my course finished... I just have to do that.
