Scrolling panels appear to have a bug that is specific to Internet Explorer. First of all, the panel itself looks a lot less sexier; but the real issue is that it adds a great deal of non-existent space at the bottom. Chrome and Firefox appear to process the same scrolling panels correctly. Thoughts?
What version of Storyline are you using? We've seen this happen in Storyline 360 content. Internet Explorer has a known issue displaying scrolling panels in HTML5 output. IE will add extra padding to the bottom of scrolling panels so there can be a significant amount of blank space after your content.
Until Microsoft fixes the problem, you can avoid it by viewing the Flash version of your content or switching to another HTML5 browser, such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
Our team has yet to see an update from Microsoft/Internet Explorer on this, but if we do, we'll be sure to share here in ELH.
If you're seeing this outside of the Internet Explorer/Edge browsers, let us know! We'll want to take a look at your project file and know any more detail about where you're testing it.

Is there an update to this issue? Is there NOTHING we can do to avoid that extra blank space from loading in the scrolling panel?

good point. I have just had another client complain about it.
This is still a debilitating issue for this software with no reasonable work around, any hope of a fix after 2 years?
