SCROM

Jul 09, 2014

Hello,

We are creating courses in Storyline and using Success Factors LMS.

If we set the number of attempts for a course to 1 attempt the correct score is reported.

However, if we set the number of attempts to more than 1 attempt the score is not reported accurately.

For example, if we allow 2 attempts with the pass score of 80%. The user fails on the first attempt. On the second attempt the user scores 90%. However, the score reported is the mastery passing score of 80%. But the user scored 90%.

Does anyone know the problem here.

Hi Beau,

I'd begin by reviewing the troubleshooting steps in this article for LMS tracking and reporting issue.

Specifically you may want to look at testing the course in SCORM Cloud, which is an industry standard for testing your SCORM content. It also may be how your LMS handles the course resuming and treating it as if it's in a "review" mode so that the user can't change their score. You could modify that behavior as described here.
