Is it just me or do you have to scroll through every single post to search for a relevant topic. I don't mean to be rude but storyline has to be one of the buggiest pieces of software I have ever used and I use it every single day for the last two years. Whenever I try to search for the latest problem it invariably comes up "no results found". It's killing me.
No doubt the search feature on the forums could definitely use a helping hand - we're hoping that the next version of the forums will have a more user-friendly search feature.
In the meantime, however, I personally recommend using Google instead. If you use a specific string "site:nameofdomain.com", you can narrow the search results for a specific domain. For example, you could search for "Storyline Video Best Practices site:community.articulate.com". Using that search, you'll actually see a lot of pretty helpful threads.
Also, one of our senior support engineers recently created Articusearch.com for our community. I highly recommend using this for searching, especially if you're not completely comfortable with using the above suggestion. This will save you some time and ensure that you're seeing the best results from the community site.
I'd been using the "Google specific string" work around what seems like forEVER. But Articusearch wins hands down. Great job by Senior Support Engineers. Thank you!

@Rebecca
Thanks for the mention of Articusearch.com
I've added it to my saved links to use in the future.
Funny, the way I ended up on this thread was through a Google search... go figure.

Yeah, go figure! And yes, so glad Christine and Ashley having been pointing us all to Articusearch.com
Hi all,
@Becky, I totally agree! Justin Grenier was the awesomeness behind that. I spend my entire day using that and I'm really grateful for it :)
I'll be sure to pass on the feedback!
Have a wonderful day,
Christine
