Section 508 compliance questions renaming Role and State properties

I'm not sure I'm clear on what you mean by "role state property" for videos? Could you share a screenshot of what you're looking to change? You may also want to look at the information associated with alt text for objects, which is in the size and position window.

I attached screenshots of the videos that I have embedded in Articulate Storyline.

For the videos in my Articulate Storyline course to be 508 compliant, I need the Role property to reflect the function of the item - its a video.

The State property of interface elements with focus must be "focused, focusable".

Or are videos not interface elements and therefore not needing the State property to be edited?

Videos do not have states in Storyline - so there wouldn't be a way to add any additional elements there. 

Are you unable to test your videos or are they not playing as expected?
