I would like to create a randomized 10 question test from a 100 question bank
I would like to separate the bank into sections much like was done in quizzmaker before. I am thinking that I may just have to create a bank for each group of questions and a slide for each group.
Is there a way to have it all on one slide, so that not only the order of questions is randomized but the group they draw from is as well?
Question banks are containers for question slides. You put questions in, then draw them out when you need them. Reuse questions as often as you'd like throughout your course. See the tutorials listed here to learn how.
Thanks, Leslie. What I'm trying to do is create a single quiz that draws a certain number of questions randomly from three separate question banks (i.e., 10 from QB1, 20 from QB2, 20 from QB3). It looks like the grouping feature in QuizMaker made this possible, but that's lacking in SL2.
I'm in the process of attempting this by creating three sequential question draws in the same scene, but at this point I'm not sure if they'll function as a single quiz with a single results slide. When I've tested, I'll report back with the results. :)
Success! I did need to delete the existing Results slide I had in my template and create a new one to make sure it was tabulating the correct results, but once I did that, it worked like a charm.
Incidentally, my quiz uses the approach described in the article linked below, so I can verify that the combination of these two approaches -- submitting all answers at once and stringing together question draws -- can be done.

Does anyone know if this question was answered somewhere else in the forum? I have the same question.

Sounds great Steve. I think you will be able to accomplish your goal.

Great news Steve. I appreciate you popping in with an update.
