First, you may want to try to restart the machine, or check through Task Manager to ensure another instance of the software isn't running, or that the file isn't open in another program or window. Is the course file located on a network drive, shared drive or any other external course? Also, do you have administrative privileges on your user account? I also see a few dashes in the file name, it's possible that may be causing an issue.
1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

I was finally able to get the file open. It was on a shared server, and I had to put a copy on my desktop to get it to open. Thank you for the help though I will keep that in mind for the future.
