Seek bar doesn't work well with video and animation

I imported a video to my Storyline and had a few items synced with the video. The seek bar of the player was also enabled.

The problem was that when I scrubbed back and forth on the seek bar, the animations and video were out of sync. Items appeared at the wrong timings.

Is there a way to work around this? I submitted my case for support, but thought maybe I should share this to see if there had been similar issues.

Will the update solving the issue mentioned above be released for Storyline 3 as well?

Hello Elisabetta,

Yes. The bug fixes that you see for Storyline 360 will be included in the next update to Storyline 3 as well.

I'll add this conversation to the report so that we can update you when that happens as well :)

Hi Hassaan,

We have just pushed an update that should fix the following issue:

Clicking on Seekbar restarts Video when published with Storyline 360 and uploaded to Articulate Online

No republishing should be needed and any affected courses should now be corrected.

Please feel free to take a look at your courses in Articulate Online and let me know if you're seeing any issue with the video restarting when using the seekbar.
