Seekbar and/or Slide Timer

Hello all,

I have seen similar posts about this topic, but none that quite fit my situation.

I am building a template with custom play controls, and am looking for a way to build either a custom per slide seekbar and/or timer for content slides. We are hoping to publish iPad friendly courses, so a Flash based solution is out. I hope someone can advise how we can achieve this.
